I have always had a soft spot for our four legged furry friends and hated leaving them home alone, wishing instead I could sneak them into my bag and take them with me everywhere I went.  One day it hit me that I was not the only one who preferred their best friend spend the day playing with others and burning off all the energy they normally had stored up for when I arrived back home.   In February of 2012 our dream of opening a Doggie Spa and Day Care finally came true.  Friendswood  accepted us with open arms and almost 5 years later we have moved into our new and improved three thousand sq ft. location next to Stevenson Park.  So grateful to all of those who have made this dream a reality and look forward to new adventures to come.

Here at Gimmie a Bark we are true dog lovers, specializing in daycare for small dogs (30lbs or smaller).  Our goal is to make a stress-free home away from home for your pet. When you can’t be home with them we are here to make them comfy and happy in our beautiful, clean, luxurious play area. 

At our daycare your dog will spend the day playing with other furry friends, while being closely supervised by one of our caring staff members. When it is time to go outside we have a safe and secure space for them to romp around in.  At the end of the day you will be greeted by a happily exhausted dog!

If a dog wash is what you need, any size dog is welcome.  We have 2 fantastic self serve tubs!  They are specialized grooming tubs to make your dog washing experience fun for the whole family - including your pet!  Just bring your dog and we will provide the rest. We have a variety of shampoos for your dog's special needs. (How about a Blueberry facial, too?)  Best of all no clean-up -- just wash, dry and go.  

Don’t have the time to wash your dog yourself?  Then let one of our professional groomers take over and pamper your pet with the special treatment they deserve.  Our groomers offer several spa services to fit your dog's needs. Unlike other spas our groomers work out of independent grooming suites making a calmer and more inviting experience for your pet.

During your visit stop by our doggie boutique where you will see one of a kind items for your home and pets.  Our bakery is full of  ‘pawsitively’ gourmet and organic treats.  We also carry the finest pet foods available with top quality ingredients to help improve your dog's daily well being and long term health.

As Friendswood Natives we love being involved in our community.
